Portal milling and drilling centre MMC 1500, MMC 1500 DT, Variants - POWER, SPEED, SPRINT, RAPID

The MC1500 machine is designed for exact and fast machining of generally shaped areas, drilling, boring, reaming, cutting threads and milling large and complicatedly shaped parts. The machine uses high shifts and accelerations up to 45m/min and 0.5g for greater efficiency.
Construction and working space – the construction of the machine is optimised not only for finite element method but also for computer space spatial optimising. The working space is 1,500 x 1,000 x 800, or for the “DT“ (Dual Table) variant the working table is divided into two separate tables. The first table is used to machine the respective work item, the second table is used to check and replace the second work item. Both working spaces are completely covered and separated.
Automatic tool replacement – is a matter of course on this machine for working in an automatic cycle. Table, cross beam and slide shoe shifts can be used at the same time. Using special accessories (rotary table with horizontal axis) the machine can machine parts from four sides and machine screw lines. Production tools with a supply of coolant through the centre can be used.
Diagnostics and monitoring the machine – monitoring the productivity and technological times with output to a PC in a local network allows the quality of work of machine operators to be evaluated. KOVOSVIT MAS, a.s. offers free of charge remote diagnostics for the machine that monitors its technical and technological parameters and can only communicate between the client and KOVOSVIT MAS, a.s. The loading, vibrations, run-out of tools, moto-hours etc. can be monitored on the spindles.
Characteristic construction elements used on the machine:
- the movable parts of the machine (table, cross beam, sliding part) are located on rolling linear lines
- the spindle is located on exact bearings with oblique contact
- digital, AC regulating drives driving the spindle and axes
- measurement of the position of the linear optical sensor
- centric tool clamping
